1. Relax at the beach The picture-postcard bays of Cala d'Or are the main attraction. Their golden sand and turquoise waters are framed by rocky outcrops which offer protection from the wind. Cala Gran and Cala Ferrera provide all the facilities for a relaxing day at the seaside, including beach bars and water sport hire.

The two biggest beaches are the central Cala Gran and the northern Cala Ferrera. Cala Esmeralda is medium-sized, while Cala d'Or (like the town) and Cala Serena are small.

There are 2 land train routes around the Cala d'Or area. The Cala d'Or Express yellow covered the area towards Cala Ferrera and the blue line did a circuit towards Cala Egos and Es Forti. It can either be used as a one way hop on, hop off (€2.50 per person) or a complete tour lasting around 1 hour (€4.50 adults, €3 children).
